Studies show that quality arts programs, which help a child's social and emotional development, have profound and long-term effects on the rest of their lives. But for many young people - including those in the inner city areas, and those whose first language is not English - opportunities in the arts are out of reach.
You can make a difference for young people in our community by ensuring that all children have an equal opportunity to participate in the artsREACH program, regardless of their family's financial situation.
As a sponsor or donor, there are many ways you can support the artsREACH program. You can:
- Sponsor a single workshop
- Sponsor a series of workshops
- Donate to the bursary fund
- Sponsor one of the artsREACH fundraising events
- Donate art supplies and materials
- Provide other in-kind services and/or products
Whatever you choose, your contribution will make a real difference to thousands of children on Vancouver Island.
