CFAX Santas Anonymous donation expands artsREACH program offerings: June 12, 2007
As artsREACH celebrates reaching a milestone of delivering 100 workshops this school year, organizers have another reason to celebrate. A donation of $20,000 from C-FAX Santas Anonymous means artsREACH organizers will be able to expand their offering of in-school art workshops to 150 for the 2007/2008 school year.
Today's Parent For Kids Sake Awards Recognizes Victoria's Marilyn Sing: April 17, 2007
Annually, the Today's Parent For Kids Sake Awards recognizes Canadians for their dedication to improving the lives of children in their communities. Today, Marilyn Sing will be one of only five Canadians honoured at the fourth annual Today's Parent For Kids Sake Awards in Toronto. She will be recognized for her contributions to artsREACH, which is aimed at building skills and bringing art to the lives of children in the Capital Region.
Retired Teachers of Ontario (Victoria Unit) provide grant for workshops: May 24, 2006
At a special presentation at George Jay Elementary School, the Retired Teachers of Ontario (Victoria Unit) awarded The OCTA Collective Society with a “Project - Service to Others” grant. The $4000 grant will cover the cost of delivering ten artsREACH workshops in drawing, painting or theatre, in public elementary schools in School Districts 62 and 63 during the 2006/07 school year.
